The Blessings of Jesus
The Beatitudes are blessings on people in all states of life. Jesus basically is saying he's throwing the door open wide on God's kingdom and he's saying there is an open door policy in my kingdom. And so when we come to Jesus and we listen to him and then we enter into his kingdom, he's throwing that door wide. When we do that, what happens is blessing replaces the curse. But as we enter into Jesus and his kingdom, well, his blessing replaces that curse.
