I had a pretty cynical view of Big Tech because using AI lingo, they talk about maximizing the objective function. Simply means you tell the AI what we want you to maximize for. But having that cynicism on my part disproved really got me excited. And then I realized they really did have good intentions,. The early tech guys, the sovereign individual, we're going to set humans free. Then of course, Facebook monetized everything we did, not so great.
