Is California a Good Place to Have Employees?
California can only regulate how you classify your employees in california. You certainly could be open to an investigation from the i r s if you've called someo an independent contractor at the federal level, but an employee at the state leveld. And we will not know how those two would have interacted because the way in which uber lift et cetera decided to retaliate was by organizing a grass roots campaign.
