How Do You Support Your Customers Through These Tough Times?
The company has been going for 51 years, started by my mum and dad. We're trying to hit a certain demographic of customer who really need the money but do have the capability of paying it back. In the pilot, when we interviewed people who'd taken out and repaid the money, so over 60% of them said that they were rejected for loans elsewhere. So it's means tested, but it also means tested both ways. I applied for a loan, and fortunately I didn't get one, because I don't deserve one.
