The Minimalist Position on Minimalism
I don't think it is quite so plausible what you were saying with respect to minimalism as with respect to maximalism. Like fundamentally, the political stakes aren't, aren't qualitatively altered. It's still the same. You know, that's that old kind of Engels idea that we've got the technology of communism already. It's a political problem. I think to the extent that it's phased, it's posed, and this might be a specific sort of gammonist minimalism - but then there are some similarities between like the AI sort of vision of the future and what that says about agency and conspiracy theorizing too.
