High flow nasal cannula seems to be the flavor of the month. When should we pull the trigger on escalating oxygen therapy in kids with bronchiolitis? This is a fascinating topic, you know. We do not have evidence that it actually does a great deal. It should be used on kids that have severe respiratory distress who are also hypoxic and they require supplemental oxygen above 92%.
