The Score of Avalon Is Like a Musical Call Back to the La La Land Score

I was not a big fan of La La Land. I thought it was like very blandly iterative, even though the filmmaking is expert of just a lot of things I had seen before. The movies of his that resonated with me are all the other movies now, which are slightly embittered and alienated stories. You know, obviously Whiplash is deeply alienated. First man is really about like a loss of connection. And this movie too is another movie where it's like, try as you might, we're all kind of doomed. Like it has that feeling of inescapable destruction and and travesty.
