The Terror of Living in Kyiv

I was trying to convey a sort of, Kyiv is a beautiful, majestic European city. There are moments like this where you think, my gosh, this is beautiful. Then everyone goes home before the curfew and around three or two o'clock in the morning there will be an air alarm. You don't know whether you are jumping out of bed, you don't know if that is a hit or if that is air defense intercepting something. I find it hard to describe to people that there is death and there is a McDouble here.
