"I can't offer you the appropriate medical care in this situation," she says. "If that's what you want, if you want to terminate your pregnancy for your safety, you don't have the ability to do that" Some patients sit up and swear a lot when told they're beyond six weeks of their pregnancy. She gives them resources to get an abortion legally outside of the state.
