Viruses like covid, bola and sars are not very transmissible. H five n one flue has a 60% case fatality rate - even worse than a bola. But that experiment led it to being transmissible, at least in ferrets. So unless e'm missing something, we're in pretty good shape for now. That's right. I'm not super worried about all the viruses that are out there in terms of causing sufficient devastation to really, certainly not to threaten civilization or anything like that. Probably not even the casualty levels that we've just seen with ovit.
