The Roots of Empathy Program
The Roots of Empathy program is now fairly common in schools in Canada. It involves bringing a baby, literally a baby and the mom into the classroom for periodic visits. The idea was to teach kids what it is like to be a baby and to have a baby. Even when the baby was no longer there, these kids were more caring to one another.
