Never before has the Supreme Court said with such a clear and loud voice originalism is how we make our decisions, he says. Avlon: The way they rule in June of last year in three rulings in the last three big days of the term that this super majority crammed decades of social change into three days. It's not just that these were big rulings but the way the court said it was doing the rulings is really extreme, writes Avlon.
