The Community of the Spirit

The turning within to a deeper or higher connection, or reference group, the spiritual community occurred through all the different vehicles i mentioned. There wasn't any single path that determined that. At first it was a few and then more and more of the cultural media started to take over the transmission of a new reference group. So that the beetles first, and bob dillon, and followed by many, many people in the rock movement and in the folk music movement started to make statements concerning this alternative reference group.
