Litor's Modernity
Can you remember your first impressions of Litor's book? I think i was struck by his diagnosis of what he calls modernity, which is both incredibly precise, but strangely vague. But as you know, it goes off into a hugely ambitious and diagnosis of what that means - not only in terms of politics or culture or social life, but in terms of epistemology. To be modern is to think in a certain way; Litor does not advocate for us to become anti modern in some way.
