The Importance of Good Works
In the New Testament, Jesus tells people to do good works. Beth Moore: The western church has an overreaction to 16th century Catholicism where somewhere along the way, good works became a bad thing. She says it's not wrong for Bethany to tell her friends that money went to help in Nicaragua because she moved there as part of God's generosity and justice on Earth.Moore: There are times when what you're doing, it is fitting to broadcast it to the world - which is exactly what it does.
