I Am Not God, I Am God. And God Loves Me More Than You Could Desire for Yourself
The devout life is not so much about like a conflict between what I want, you know, my will, my desires and what God wants. St. Francis de Sales describes the way that we kind of do battle against an ordinate anxiety or sorrow by talking it through with someone else. He's going to try to reintroduce us into the human community as which of giving us access to the divine community.
