Dr. Jacobson's Life and Times
In 1964, Dr. Jacobson's 49 year old wife Nina passes away under what some believe are suspicious circumstances but no one asks any questions. In 1967, he comes to the attention of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Needle marks on his arms make it clear. He's not only sampling his own product, but is likely in the grip of an addiction as he relies on amphetamines to deal with his heavy workload.
