Renew Your Good Intentions

One must yearly renew good intentions by means of the following exercises. No watch is so excellent that it does not need to be wound up each day and now and then taken apart in order to repair what might be worn out or out of order. A devout person, after thus taking apart his heart for the sake of its renewal, should anointed with the sacraments of confession in the Holy Eucharist. This exercise will repair your strength, which become impaired by the course of time, rekindle your heart, reanimate your good resolutions, and make your virtues blossom anew.
