Listening, Reading, Listening

Listening is still, i think, number one over all for our speaking. But we should not forget reading. We should not neglect it. Listening has other benefits too, but the reading is important in that way. Sometimes with listening, they're just some words i don't notice. And this happens with me in japanese a lot. They're just certain words that, i don't know why, i just never seem to hear them, i never notice them.
