Why Journalling Is So Important

Some people find physical movement more helpful than putting words to things. There's lots of evidence that if you can put labels to emotions, it improves outcomes. Some people prefer not to write because they're afraid about things being found or confidentiality and those sorts of things. It doesn't have to be readable to any one else for them to be helpful emotionally. If writing is not your thing, then doing something with it will help too.
