The mind shift that needs to happen is heating and cooling humans instead of heating and cooling spaces. As we invent more technology that is more energy efficient, we actually globally end up using more energy. So as we're growing, Jevons Paradox acts as a positive feedback. But once we're declining in total aggregate throughput, then I think efficiency will go the other direction.
