Gilbert godfrey met the other brother, chico, in new york many years ago. He was so taken with the way we worked together that i called his brother and he said, you know, we didn't think all fly wheel and ravell. We had a government during the depression, w p a free acting classes for my brother. For six days, six nights a week, cost me 35 cents the dinner. Couldn't afford i was getting eight dollars for for a machinist helper. And at that time, i got into a play called the gilmore theatre where i worked six days a week doing the bishop misbehaves.
