The History of the Italian Fascist Regime

During the 1920s, there would be a general erosion of rights for Italians. This was done through continual attempts to regulate female sexuality and body image. In 1929 an agreement would be reached with the church known as the Lauderin Pax. These agreements resolved many of the outstanding concerns between the Catholic Church and Italy. For example, it formalized the arrangement of Vatican City. Most importantly for Mussolini, it clarified the relationship between the CatholicChurch and the Italian government.
