The Campfire in the Sierra Foothills

Fall is typically the peer, it's the height of wildfire season in California because there are weather conditions that result in very strong winds. And so what happened on November 8th, 2018 is that there were some very, very strong winds in the Sierra foothills in Northern California. There was a hook holding up a wire on a transmission tower. It had been installed about 100 years ago or 100 years earlier. The fire ignited just beneath the tower and it was like, it was spreading out of control truly within minutes toward the town of Paradise - where 84 people died.
