The New HCI - Household Costs Index
Office for National Statistics says the RPI is a very poor measure of inflation. They say they're pressing ahead with reforms to the RPI, which will bring CPI-H into the RPI by 2030. Last week we took a close look at the state of the health service in England. We heard that there are increased levels of staffing in hospitals since the pandemic. But hospital services are only one part of our health system. The other is primary care, of which GPs are at the forefront. And there have been debates too about the pressures that GPs are under.
