The book floundered the parts when he states things. He seemed like an incredibly tenacious, you know, unusual person who was really determined to try to hold on in the face of that being kind of devastating for him. There are a few moments like that that just really crystallize something about the tactility and intensity and this world also that he is even right. And it does feel almost like this is notes toward the book he's going to write.
