Is There a New Neuron First Approach to General Intelligence?

I don't think you can just take a bunch of narrow AIs serving some vertical application functions, networks, those together in singularity or anything else. So you need to take a new neuron first approach. And I think... Oh, we do in that front. Is that what you suggest? No, I think there's a number. There are many approaches that one could take.
