I will tell you from personal experience that the attractions of sects lose a lot of their power when you are actively gaged as the spiritual leader in your family. It is easier to avoid temptation than it is to resist it. You need to avoid temptation, not resist it. If you're going to count on yourself to be able to resist temptation, you're a fool. Flee youthful lust. Flee worldly temptation. No human being has within them the strength to resist such over owering emotions. And if you're feeling under pressure and on the verge of something, an emotion is welling up within you. What does the bible say? Run, run.
