The Importance of a Tough Relationship
Two days before closing, she told me out of nowhere she did not want me to move in with her. We agreed to not talk about things for two to four weeks and reassess after that. She asked me to come over after a week despite our agreed upon moratorium to talk about how she felt. If I'm not going to come back, she feels she can't live in the new house alone. After a couple of weeks, she still felt this way. And after a lot of shared tears and lamentation, I moved out.
