At the end of World War II, Warner Von Braun had developed this weapon system called the V2 rocket. He was always interested in space, but he had to develop these rockets and he had done it with slave labor that they had given him. But at the end of the war, you know, Germany was getting ready to surrender. And so he made arrangements to surrender to the U.S. With that, he had a team of about 700, 600, 700 people technicians, engineers that he brought over to America.
