Many people who have depression, or even mild depression, wake up at two or three in the morning and can't fall back asleep. Many people report that just simply getting bright light exposure in their eyes early in the day is one of the hall marked features for them. You need to be worried about the brightness of light more so than the color of light. Just dim the lights as low as you can safely have them. People have different life styles and different needs. If your own screens, dim the screens.
