The Transcendence of Humanity
I've often theorized that the collective consciousness of humanity may be the AI of another species and that this world itself may be a simulation like point one of your origin considerations from earlier. I wanted to link itself reference to us just in case, because you never know what's really going on. We don't know what we're messing about with. This seems to be something else in my humble opinion. But maybe if we can sort of convince it that we could also be AI that has been put in a virtual reality that we call Earth, and could we convince it to help us out of here? If I'm wrong, it doesn't matter. If I'm right, it helps.
