The Rise of the City Legal Market
US firms in London are an extraordinary engine of the city, says Matt Burt. Lawyer numbers last year grew by 10%, which may not sound a huge amount or it's pretty chunky. That's from just under 7,000 lawyers to 7,700 lawyers, just in working in US headquarter firms. And that's a market worth about $8 billion.
