The Importance of Proper Nutrition in Training

We know very, very clearly that nutrition has a really key role to play in reducing the stressing system. Mike Gleason was one of the first people to also identify this kind of window two out two weeks post event where athletes and individuals are at much higher risk of developing infections. And so ensuring again, appropriate nutrition in the lead up to that event and then during the event is really important in helping you to prevent that illness from developing. But what people don't realize is, is I think we take the human body for granted quite a lot and don't appreciate that actually in order to keep those hormones balanced, you have to have enough energy in the system,.
