The Physics of Fusion and Fission
Fusion and fission has been studied for many, many decades now. This is the first time that people have been able to demonstrate in a laboratory more energy coming out of a fusion reaction than was put in. To get this type of fusion reaction, you're looking at a temperature of 150 million degrees Celsius. The heat has to be astonishingly 10 times hotter than the core of the sun.
