How Does AI Support Different Points of View?

I think if you were going to build it, you would be hyper focused on efficiency in terms of what it took to gather news. And then I think that the question is going to be through what lens. So how does the AI support different points of view or how do people effectively bring their own algorithms that allow them to sort media?
