Wittgenstein: Language models are very good at learning about the form of language. But in their view there is this absolute divide between form and meaning. They say that's a key feature of Wittgenstein's view that is missing from language models because they don't have anything like an intention to communicate anything. So it's just interesting that Wittgenstein that its legacy is kind of heading towards very different directions.
