The Importance of Tax Credits for Alternative Energy
The IRA also incentivizes investments in alternative energy via tax credits and Department of Energy loans. I think wind, solar, nuclear, and clean hydrogen are potential winners as the IRS Climate Provisions go into full gear. GE's power unit makes winding gas turbines, along with nuclear power reactors. If you see a pure play on hydrogen fuel cells, it's going to be insanely speculative for me.
