The blue letter bible says that this is that word, and it means toxin. You look that up in bedag or some other unow standard lexicon. It's an archer's weapon. But what i recommend is any book, and there are a number of these f both reference books and individual books. Any book on greco roman or second temple military gear or warfare would include discussions and descriptions of the tocsin.
