The History of Hockey

colored hockey league limped on until the 1930s but in a severely diminished form. With the destruction of africville in the 1960s the pivotal role that black Canadians played in the creation of hockey was largely forgotten. In the last few years because of the work of the fosties bob dawson and many others there's been a revival of interest in this league. Here at commons we wanted to see how all of this was being memorialized by the hockey establishment so we took a visit to hockey's most sacred temple.
