What Is the Modern Monetary System?

I don't think there's really much theory in modern monetary theory. I think it's just kind of descriptive. And, you know, the things that we describe when we're describing the modern monetary system were applicable to fixed exchange. So they were applicable to a carbureted engine, but they're just in applicable in the world of fuel injectors or floating exchange.
