Enamine is a contract research organization that's in Ukraine. It's probably responsible for the production of more chemicals and almost any other CRO than I can think of. A lot of it derives from the very distinct sets of chemical libraries that were being developed in the, the former Soviet Union versus the Western world. There's an entire pharmacopia of potentially therapeutic drugs that just never trickled down into the US market.
