A Coat of Many Colors
Father gave joseph a coat of many colors. The fact that father gave it to joseph alone suggests there's something going on here beyond just, oh, fashion statements. There is jewish tradition behind the possibility that this may have been that coat of skins passed down, that god gave to adam and eve in the garden of eden. We don't know exactly, but there was something to this.
