I think it's interesting that you both said that you thought these were two mutually exclusive things, hat, like you couldn't be a good the church and be gay. And so it becomes a scary thing, and maybe even a self fulfilling prophecy, of, if i'm going to be this, then i can't be this other thing, ye? Have you felt that that has happened? Has this identity of being gay taken away from your identity as a child of god? Not at all.
