In art there are subjects that you can create in 3d in 2d Across the board. One of these is significantly harder than the other and it's characters. This plays into motivation if you feel like oh, I can't bring myself to punish myself and fail at this thing again. It might simply be that you are trying to do something which is far harder um far too far too difficult for you.
