Welor: You have resources in your book for people who are grappling with estrangement. And i've noticed this trend with memoir where there's an element of self help involved. So i soned if you could talk about the theme of estrangement more and how you sought to organize your story around that experience. Welor: I think my mother and i, in the course of the story, demonstrate a lot of the principles of reconciliation.
