Pithakusa: A UB in Colony
The way that Pithakusa was described in even pretty recent work, it was always a UB in colony with some signs of an indigenous population and a Phoenician presence there. But when you were actually looking at the data, you found something that was so much different that pretty radically alters our understanding of what that site was. So I just have to thank you for that. It's because it's such an elegant summation of why the assumptions that you bring to the material are important.
