Is a Waterproof Jacket Breathable?

If it's hot and you have a waterproof jacket on, you are going to be damp inside. The key is to wear other clothing which dries quickly after it stops raining. If you're becoming too cold and you're wearing everything then abandon the run. I just wouldn't expect as a runner to be dry in a waterproof. There'll always be patches where water will ingress slightly because there's a hole - this is your net coal.
