The use of analogies and they're very region specific as well which is again another aspect that allows the course to personalize their language with their athletes. If an analogy can be so succinct and concise then that will in itself cause an implicit behavior to emerge. It saves me a huge amount of coaching time and it increases the efficiency of the interaction between coach and athlete. I don't want to spend all day describing the situation but if I can come up with a really strong action verb embedded in an analogy it saves me a lot of coaches time. That's how these theories merge and marry together why because you can't give an analogy without words, Kevin says.
