Genetic Programming Isn't Open Ended Like Black Biological Evolution

Doyc is saying something that is true. He's pointing out that genetic programming, artificial evolution in algaritms, isn't open ended by black biological evolution. This is not a point that needs to be debated. There are narrow evolutionary processes that have very small range of what they can produce. They will produce knowledge, but they only do within a small range. And there's open ented evolutionary processes that can, in theory, produce maybe thing,. particularly in the case of humans.
